Dances Taught

JUNE
Duck Soup-
A great little beginner/improver dance that all levels can enjoy, really swings along & just love those jitterbug boogie walks. The track is a great swinger 'Restless' by Shelby Lynne. a definite feel good floor filler.
Like A Hero-
Better late than never with this one, straight forward 2 wall 64 count, two tags to a great track from Charlotte Perrelli (Swedish Eurovision entry)
Feed The Fetish
- Not for everyone this dance, but well worth the effort to master the orientation from the turns. Brilliant choreography to a fabulous track from Janet Jackson just 32 counts, no tags, no restarts!

MAY
Fire On Ice
Another winner from Kate Sala & also Mark Medlock well structured dance flows really well with many turns at an easy pace, definite floor filler.
Looking For Love- Great dance from P & A just enough to keep the interest without being too difficult to a superb version of this old Neil Sedaka hit, a winning formula!  A great sing along track, and a definite floor filler.
In God's Hands-
Wow! It's a long time since I have enjoyed a waltz as good as this. A collaboration from Francien Sittrop, Iris van Heesch & Katrin Gabler has produced a superb 48 count (+ 2 restarts +1 tag) to an absolute stunning track from Nelly Furtado. This dance really captures the mood of the music. A straight forward teach 2 restarts &1 tag .Concentration needed for first 3 walls until the beat kicks in, but once mastered the steps & turns just flow. Highly recommended !!
Devil's Beat-
Got to be honest was a little disappointed in this dance from Kate. The track is superb although a little short (2.20) but the dance seems on the slow side & I don't think it reflects the vibrance of the music.
Laid Back 'N Low Key-
Improver dance from P&A straight 32 to a great track from Alan Jackson.

APRIL
Black & Gold-
Another from T & V with great step sequences, also a super track from Sam Sparro, all in all just a little bit different!
Irish Spirit-
Maggie G at her best! Great dance, yes it's fast, yes it's tricky & yes it's just grrrreat !! On the fourth repeat just about everyone was up to speed & shouting for more, we love it.
Beauty & The Beat-

Nearly missed this one, easy teach Improver level but can be enjoyed by all, another great track from Mark Medlock
Our First Love-
Collaboration from Robert Lindsay, Kim Ray, Vivienne Scott & Fred Buckley. This is a really smooth dance to another great track from Belle Perez, just love it & could well be the next 'Rebel Amor'

MARCH

The Rain
Came Down -
This is a 'WINNER' from Teresa & Vera  the classes loved it. Unusual start with the Heel Ball Cross's which together with the superb track makes it  winner!-(Can't wait for their next 'Black & Gold)
Love Is A Game-
Another great dance from RMH, 1st teach some struggled with the turns but by week three all mastered them.
